Using SparkWrite

SparkWrite provides writing-practice prompts and automated coaching. It is practice support only: it is not affiliated with the Department of Education and does not guarantee exam, school-entry or learning outcomes.

A parent or guardian must create or authorise an account used by a child. Keep sign-in details private and do not submit personal, sensitive or identifying information in writing responses.

AI coaching

Coaching is optional. When it is requested, the writing task and response are sent to OpenAI to create feedback. Do not request coaching unless a parent or guardian has approved this sharing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

Paid plans renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout unless cancelled before the next renewal. Prices are in Australian dollars; checkout shows the final amount before you pay. You can cancel a subscription from the subscription page. Cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the paid billing period.

Refunds and consumer rights

Change-of-mind refunds are not ordinarily available once digital access has been provided. This does not limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If SparkWrite has a major problem or does not meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy. Contact us at the address above so we can help.

Changes or ending access

We may change SparkWrite or these terms where reasonably necessary. We will give notice of material changes through the service or by email. We may suspend access to protect users, prevent misuse or comply with law.
